    I think your biggest consideration is that you probably won’t be able to keep your foreign citizenship.

    Dual citizenship by birth would be allowed to do so (if you claim and make the declarations before turning 22). However, you would be reacquiring Korean citizenship under Article 9 of the Nationality Act, and unless they put you under Article 7(1)2 or Article 7(1)3 (paraphrasing – contribute greatly to ROK/ROK national interests), you need to renounce your existing citizenship within a year.

    Unfortunately, I do not know what the threshold is for falling under either of those articles.
