      You know things are bad when people from second and third world countries would rather live in those countries than stay in Canada.

      Sorry eh. It reminds me of the expression, “you are not stuck in traffic, you ARE the traffic” There are just to many of ya so the opportunities are non existent.

      We’ve been lying to immigrants about their prospects to get them to move here for at least 100 years.

      At the risk of sounding crass, it’s been all over global news that Canada was allowed millions of immigrants in over the last few years with next to zero plans for sustainability. Not to mentions 100s of thousands of folks claiming asylum. We have numerous problems being exacerbated by this from housing to healthcare to cost of living.

      Now is not a great time to pack up and move to. Canada. A year ago it wasn’t.

      So 40% of newcomers / immigrants reject Canada for whatever reason.
