Parents of active-duty soldiers criticized the Presidential Security Service for mobilizing regular soldiers to prevent the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk-yeol.

The organization formed by the parents of active-duty soldiers, “Parents’ Coalition for Safe Return Without Injury or Pain,” issued a statement on the 9th condemning the “illegal mobilization of soldiers by the Security Service,” stating, “We can no longer tolerate the illegal and arrogant actions of the Security Service that treats the morale and honor of our soldier sons as disposable.” They urged the Security Service to immediately stop its ugly rampage of trying to impose the stigma of being accomplices to a coup on their sons.
