**The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) Incident:**

      • CIO attempted to execute an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk-yeol

      • Was blocked by Presidential Security Service (PSS) resistance

      • Plans to punish PSS leadership for obstruction and abuse of power

      **PSS Response and Concerns:**

      • Refused to execute warrant, citing presidential safety

      • This justification deemed insufficient for blocking treason investigation

      • PSS head Park Jong-joon (former Saenuri Party candidate) suspected of involvement

      **Historical Context and Criticism:**

      • PSS originated during Park Chung-hee military regime

      • Criticized as being accountable only to the President

      • Contrasts with other countries where security organizations report to various ministries

      **Recent Developments:**

      • Former President Moon Jae-in’s attempt to transfer security office to National Police Agency failed

      • Calls for PSS abolition may resurface after President Yoon’s dismissal

      • Democratic Party floor leader demands PSS officials be treated as treason accomplices

      **Current Status:**

      • CIO planning legal action against approximately 200 PSS personnel

      • Charges to include special obstruction of performance of official duties

      • Investigation ongoing into treason allegations

If you watch any historical Korean film, there’s always a guard around the piece of shit nobleman. I used to laugh and say, “OK, it’s just a movie. Nobody loves their job that much.”

K-cinema is constantly proving that they’re not actually creative, they’re just trapped in a hellhole of reality and the small fraction of what we see is actually a softened version of reality.

Protecting the individual is one thing, but aiding and abetting the obstruction the execution of a lawful order of a court should be an offence. This is not noble. It is criminal.
