While Canada is the most similar to Russia in area it’s still just a little over half the size.

Back in the 90’s/00’s, we had a group of Mongolian farmers and ranchers come to our ranch to learn about our grazing practices due to the similarities in ecology. The Russians took all of the decent farming equipment with them when they pulled out, and our practices (severe grazing followed by rest) have been shown to substantially improve semi-arid grazing land.

I remember they brought gifts, and I still have my carved horse head spoon, and my sis got a yak felt pencil cup.

My dumbass thought this map was talking about “area” as geography/climate not size, i noticed Russia first and it kinda made sense and just got confused as i looked further lmao

Italy and the Philippines are somewhat have so many cultural and religious similarities than we thought.

Mexico and Australia sharing the same maritime border would have looked like the Korean DMZ for sure.

Huh, I didn’t realize Kazakhstan was as big as India. That’s a massive country that flies under the radar.

If you’re wondering, Andorra is the closest to Singapore and Bahrain

You’re telling me that Japan and Germany are roughly the same size?

Bhutan/Switzerland suprised me the most and quite interesting that the two landlocked politically neutral mountain countries are basically the same size too.

Argentina is too small for India, Brazil is slightly larger, but definitely not Argentina!
