    from the author:
To those commenting on the laws of Lithuania, etc., you do not read as you should, it is not about borders, the more so today, nor about the union of states under Polish rule. At that time the King of Poland was the so-called Grand Duke of that state, not to mention the Polish system, with local variations, of course, established in Cracow or other centres. There were also periods of incomplete Polish rule when there was no personal union there. All this can be counted.

  2. Country =/= king. Hungary and Poland at some point had the same monarch (=personal union), but were not the same country (=union).

I would say the personal unions of Poland, such as Hungary, Slovakia and Czechia shouldn’t be counted since they were still independent states that merely shared a monarch.

  4. Until now I didn’t know that any of polish rulers even tried to establish rule over polabian Slavs.

I’d love to see maps like this for all the major European countries.

I like the inclusion of varna as if they weren’t just slaughtered

I feel like this reinforces my hypothesis that the 1929 borders of europe were the best we were ever gonna get
