The Euro has a map of Europe on the back, and not all European countries are part of the EU.

The 500 kzt note depicts the Caspian Sea. And a few notes have the map of kazakhstan on them which technically includes transnational territories

Unless im missing it, you missed Tuvalu, Nauru and Kiribati based on the USD being officially used by others and used on this map.

All three use the Australian dollar officially, despite Tuvalu and Kiritbati having their own coins. None have their own banknotes and officially use Australian banknotes, with the Kiribati and Tuvalu dollar also pegged to the Australian dollar.

All would he blue given Parliament House is featured on the $5 note at a minimum, despite other landmarks being featured on other notes, such as the Shrine in Melbourne on the $100 note.

    5. I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet – Switzerland’s 10 Franc note of the 8th series shows the ground plan of the Indian city of Chandigarh which was designed by Swiss architect Le Corbusier. Is that why it’s included here? (This is not the current 10 Swiss Franc note though.)

Although not a country, the Indian 2000 rupee banknote depicts Mars.

The ₹100 notes of the Mahatma Gandhi series have Mt Kangchenjunga on them.

      Bad map.

Several countries missing. Weird specifications like currency having a globe, or a pyramid referencing other countries.

Not including Euro because it’s a supranational currency with custom union but included the USD which is literally the same (supranational currency and custom union with Ecuador etc.)

As far as i know you missed some, but these are probably open for debate (except Turkey they are just claiming other countries)

      * **Jordan**: Currency shows scenes from Jerusalem.
      * **India**: Banknotes feature the Himalayas, spanning multiple countries.
      * **Turkey**: Implies Northern Cyprus, recognized only by Turkey.

Crimea is Ukraine. Whoever made this map please keep it in mind next time.

You could colour Greenland, if you consider it a different country from Denmark, but Greenland is of course just using standard Danish notes.

    12. If you’re counting the pyramid on the US note as an “Egyptian” pyramid… you are mistaken

Virtually no country recognizes Russia’s annexation of Crimea. Is there a reason so many maps here show Crimea as part of Russia? It really does strike me as Russian propaganda whenever I see that in a map here. Like you don’t even show Puerto Rico as part of the US, but Crimea has to be part of Russia.

    14. We have Nelson Mandela on one side and the Big Five on the other side of ours.
