      Rest in peace. Losing a sibling is tough, especially a younger sibling – I’ve seen it up close. And around Christmas time too.

      I hope the PM and his family can find time to properly grieve despite him having such a busy and important job.

      And fuck cancer.

      I don’t like Starmer at all but can still feel sorry for him to suffer such a loss as losing a family member, let alone at Christmas.

      My condolences go out to him and his family, cancer is an absolute cunt.

      As someone who lost someone during December in the run up to Christmas (sudden and out of the blue, early 00s), it’s difficult to deal with loss at the best of time, let alone during a month where everything is supposed to be fun and festive. Aside from the immense grief, it also kinda changes your entire outlook on Christmas forever.🫤

      That’s sad. I don’t know why there’s so much pent up frustration in this comments section, desperate to be outraged one way or the other, sums up politics on this sub I guess.

      Let’s just show some genuine compassion, horrible time of year to lose someone, difficult for our PM who must be feeling the stress, and cancer sucks so hard.

      Sad and particularly cruel around this time of year. My grandma lost 3 of her 5 kids within the space of two years, then her sister and now lost her brother on Christmas Eve this year, almost as a final fuck you. Fuck cancer. Sympathies to him and his family.

      Death is shit, even more at Christmas. My partner’s Dad died suddenly yesterday morning. Condolences to Starmer and his family.
