I hope so!
One of the reasons I’m inclined to believe these numbers are roughly accurate is the fact that they match up relatively well with Russian recruitment figures. According to the Russian government they have recruited about 440,000 troops in 2024 and Russia is on track to suffer about 420,000 casualties according to the Ukrainian government. This roughly lines up with what we’ve seen at the front as well.
