  1. Perhaps it’s the reward thing, if you are ugly socially good behaviour does not help.

  2. This study boils down to “if you are treated well by society you will endeavor to return that treatment”. Which is kind of a roundabout way of reaffirming what has been shown in numerous other studies of humans having a bias in their treatment of others rooted in physical attraction.

    The better you look, the better you are treated and in turn the better you will treat others (not taking into account other factors).
