What an apocalyptic looking landscape.

It’s a Beretta MG 42/59, hence the low firing rate.

Why are trenches constructed this way? Seems like a funnel for grenades to roll into, hard to see over ramparts. Not at all like WWII emplacements were made.

Thats not an mg3. Its a m53 with a slightly lower ROF.

I thought MG3 had higher rate of fire
