    Interesting, but I think Desoxyn is even more effective for this use case.

    Lisdexamfetatine is a prodrug…meaning the body needs to metabolize it first. Which means it’s not ideal for abuse because there’s a time lag between when you take the drug and your body can convert it to the active stimulant so it’s more difficult to get a euphoria off it. So for people already addicted to methamphetamine it would pretty much do nothing other than reduce the hunger and craving for a hit

    It could, but the problem with stimulant use and doperminergics in general is the epigenetic upregulation of counteracting endocrine hormones like dynorphin, which under some circumstances can lead to increasing doses needed. Lisdexamphetamine can surely take the edge off though and smooth things out. The spiny dendrites with excessive D1 receptors due to stimulant abuse would be sated a bit.
