      I’m no expert but prohibiting protests on a specific issue seems unconstitutional. Freedom of speech violation.

      This is how it goes around first amendment protections. It’s not banning per se, it’s discouraging companies via government contracts.

      Gotta be so chill to be a Israeli lobbyist/politician/law enforcer. Get to receive money from the us by the truck loads, get to pay off our politicians. Then make those politicians pass laws to prevent people from speaking out about those topics. On top of that they’ll conduct smear campaigns and take all your money. Must be awesome.

      Fyi, it’s not banning boycott, it’s banning boycott by government entities and investments, which is quite different from banning boycott by individuals, which is straight up 1984 stuff

      People are finally starting to learn that being pro-Palestine is much more than a random foreign policy stance.

      It involves views on free speech, excessive police force, campaign finance, international law, foreign influence in our elections, and more.
