Or to put it more plainly: he’s got his head too far up his own ass to see what’s going on around him.
He is not going to step down on his own. His ego will not allow it. He is ignoring the advice of experts (hand picked experts!) because he knows better than they do.
If all of the people claiming that a Poilievre government will be a disaster actually believe it, then they need to use the power they have to present a better alternative than this guy.
The Liberal backbench is too timid to actually make a move on the boss. They either still think he’s their best option, or they’re too timid to stick their neck out.
The NDP is in basically the same situation, except their leader has even less charisma and political acumen.
The first one to hit the hard reset and take a good look at themselves might earn my vote. Either one right now? Forget it.
