    >The Kremlin on Wednesday accused Ukraine of committing a “terrorist attack” by killing a Russian general and his aide in Moscow, in its first comments since the bomb blast.

    >“It is now obvious who ordered this terrorist attack. It is once again confirmed that the Kyiv regime does not shy away from terrorist methods,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, more than 24 hours after the attack claimed by Ukraine

Is the numerous chemical attacks and killing of Ukraine civilians not terrorism?

Terrorist state accuaing their victims of fighting back. Cry me a river

  3. *Which part of “an active officer of the invading army is a legitimate target” you don’t understand?*

  4. How the hell do they manage to keep a straight face and make these sorts of pronouncements.

  5. The real terrorists who attacked and killed many innocent Ukrainian citizens including bombing apartment blocks, hospitals and shelters is accusing Ukraine of terrorism?

Did I get that right ?

Would they prefer Ukraine kidnap him, strap him to a rocket, and fire said rocket into an apartment building or grocery?

  7. “So yeah, we can shoot at all your civilians as much as we want (and we do), but you are not allowed to shoot at our military. Da?”

Terrorism; unlawfull use of violence, especially to bring fear amongst civilians in pursuit of political aims.

This was not an act against civilians, nor to infuse fear in civilians.

At best, this claim is rather shakey by the definition.

If anything; it shows Russia fails to reflect on its own actions…. again.

  9. The fun part is they apparently found a random immigrant to be the fall guy. The story as is told by authorities doesn’t make any fucking sense, as Ukrainian Intelligence according to the investigation provided a shitton of information that isn’t in any way related to the assassination to a random person executing the plan

So according to the investigation Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine hired a guy to execute the assasination, promised $100k as the payment, made him deliver and set up the explosive load, then ordered him to install surveillance that streams directly to Dnipro (why?), told him that the stream goes directly to Dnipro (why?), then ordered him to stakeout nearby and explode the payload at the right moment. How all of this makes sense?

A racist, xenophobic shithole. With each passing day I despise Russia more and more

This is not terrorism by any reasonable definition. He was clearly a military target. There was no indiscriminate targeting of civilians, no attempt to coerce by fear. It was a very specific attack against a very specific person who was very specifically active in the war against Ukraine

Yet again Russia wants others to abide by rules that it simply does not adhere to itself.

And uhm.. what about the times Russia sent operatives to poison people in foreign nations **with FUCKING radioactive material**? What do we call that?

  12. So … rusian general uses forbiden chemical weapons to kill civilians from Ucraine, the country he is invading. That is a war crime under international law. Russia sees no problem in that.

So … Ukraine then kills the war criminal. Russia cries terrorism.

Conclusion is that Russia is a terrorist state.

Here’s my big thing with the Russians, they repress their own people, they’re butchering foreign civilians, they throw their political enemies out of windows, and the FSB targets dissidents for assassination in foreign countries, yet they cry foul over this?

Get the fuck outta here, and the Ukraine.

  14. Nevadaman78 on

Because unprovoked invasion isn’t terrorism? LOL Russia crying again.

  15. The terrorists are those who target the civilians to make pressure.

Russian attacks on Ukraine’s cities and energy supply are terrorism for example.

Killing a general is not terrorism since it does not target the civilians, unless the Kremlin means that they are going to kill Ukrainian citizens to retaliate, then that would be another account of Russian terrorism, yes.

  16. Submit it to the International Criminal Court for review.

    Suggest Putin hand delivers it.

    Show strength and leadership…….

Why does the Russian govt act like such little hoes? First they act all tough but then when someone gets tough with them they get all limp dick and cry around

That’s rich coming from a nation that bombed a theatre with ‘Children’ written outside it.

Aren’t these the same people who destroyed the Kakhovka dam?

If Ukraine is a terrorist state for targeting a single military officer who likely ordered the use of chemical weapons on their citizens, what does that make Russia’s actions in Kherson Oblast?
