      JFC. These people *want* to be martyrs and it’s entirely likely they’re provoking and intimidating our institutions out of their religious extremism; they are choosing to be obstructionist and defy the baseline social contract the rest of us live by. We now have *two* Burkes taking up space in an already vastly over-capacity Prison Service.

      I don’t even know what we’re supposed to do with family & individuals who are wilfully ignoring every single reasonable ask to step down from their sense of religious entitlement.
