New hope for the agreement saw senior Biden administration officials fanning out across the Middle East this week with the goal of closing the critical pact by the end of 2024.
According to officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the media, Hamas has now agreed to Israeli forces staying in the Gaza Strip temporarily after fighting ends and to provide a complete list of hostages, including Americans, who will be released. [The Wall Street Journal ](https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/israel-gaza-palestine-ceasefire-hostage-negotiations-d599e1d1)was the first to report on the concessions Hamas was prepared to make.

If the Biden administration had put pressure on Hamas instead of Israel, the hostages would have been home long ago.

Hamas should not expect a ceasefire without releasing all hostages.

I knew it. This is one thing Trump can do Biden can’t… and that’s really threatening the hell out of his enemies. No wonder Israel was rejoicing at Trump’s victory. I could see Hamas surrendering sometime by 2025. And hopefully for the better so the Gazans can rebuild their lives

Everyone giving trumps props when Netanyahu clearly favored trump over Biden. He knows he can away with way more shit when trumps in office. I don’t find it a coincidence that Netanyahu all of sudden is ready to get to a cease fire settlement as soon as trump is elected.
And everyone saying the dems were soft. Name a single country that has supported Isreal more?
