Reposting this from the deleted shorter post:

To add some more context, ARSA and RSO claim to represent the Rohingya ethnic group that was not only made stateless by the Burmese juntas in the 1980s, but is still being genocided by the current Burmese military under Min Aung Hlaing.

[ARSA ](https://www.irrawaddy.com/news/myanmars-crisis-the-world/rohingya-forced-to-fight-alongside-myanmar-army-tormentors.html)and [RSO](https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/myanmars-frontline-rohingya-fighters-junta-face-common-enemy-2024-09-06/), however, pretty much either actively aid the Myanmar Junta against AA or just don’t fight the junta army. Sure, there are [tensions ](https://web.archive.org/web/20241203041132/https://thediplomat.com/2024/10/rohingya-community-is-divided-over-arakan-armys-plan-for-inclusive-administration/)between many Rakhine and Rohingya; some AA members also committed horrible crimes against Rohingya. Still, the junta is part of the same establishment that intensified the genocides.

The last video shows Myanmar junta personnel huddled inside the BGP 5 post back in November.

    Translation:

Soldier A: “This is the 25th. These are the trapped soldiers. Warriors and soldiers. Everyone here is in horrible conditions. Yeah, you can talk about anything in the video.”

Random: “Let the media see this.” (I’m not exactly sure what he was saying)

Soldier A: “I’m recording the video, say anything. Say anything for your families.”

Random: “Let him talk.” (He referred to a name or something but I can’t make it out)

Soldier A: “Just say it like this. Say, say, say it.”

Soldier B: “Is this Media? Right? I will say this now. In 25th right now, we’ve been trapped here since August 4. Now, it’s November 8. It’s been 3 months and nobody has cometo rescue us. Nobody came to pull us out. The current situation right now is that our army has completely disintegrated. Only groups like this remain. Even though only groups like this remained, nobody has done anything for us. I would like somebody (superior) to do something. Okay? So please, let this be heard through the media and media views. There’s a lot of us here in these horribleconditions. All of us are policemen and soldiers.”

Random: “We need someone who can speak properly so they know what it’s like to be here.”

Soldier A: “I beg everyone to please rescue us. Everyone is trapped. Okay? Here. Here, everyone is trapped. We can’t go out anywhere at all. We can’t go anywhere at all. Everyone is trapped and surrounded here. Everyone is in trouble. Okay? Everyone, the soldiers and personnels are all barely surviving and have nothing to eat. We are all trapped here. The officer of 25th (I don’t know the exact rank) also escaped by himself without a care for us. So, only the lower soldiers remained. This is what’s happening right now in Maungdaw 25th. We can’t go out anywhere. I think the superiors know about this situation too. I hope everyone knows about this situation. Everyone here is having difficulties. We have nothing to eat and nothing to drink. We don’t even have any ammunition left. Everyone here is in trouble. We don’t have anywhere to go. We are just holed up right here including the wounded soldiers too.”

    Random: “Everyone, please sit.”
