During a recent visit to Bangkok, part of a regional roadshow to foster legal cooperation, she proposed collaboration between Thailand’s arbitration center and its Malaysian counterpart. As Malaysia prepares to chair ASEAN in 2025, Azalina emphasized the urgency of joint reforms to address cross-border disputes and streamline legal processes, drawing inspiration from the European Union model. She also advocated leveraging AI technology to bridge linguistic barriers and improve access to justice, urging regional law ministers to discuss such innovations at the 2025 ASEAN Law Ministers’ Meeting.
