  1. Ciao a tutti!

My wife and I, both software developers fortunate enough to have remote jobs, are embarking on an exciting journey of relocating to Northern Italy, and we’d love your input and insights! As a citizen of Italy myself (my wife unfortunately is not a European citizen) and with the flexibility of remote work, we have the freedom to choose any city to call home.

We’ve put together a Notion document ranking 10 cities that have captured our interest the most, considering our unique situation. We are passionate about travel and exploring new cultures, which is why we’re drawn to Italy’s charm. However, as avid travelers, cities with excellent urban mobility, such as efficient train systems and accessibility to airports, are our top priorities. This consideration led us to exclude cities like Trieste, Udine, and Aosta from our list.

However, we recognize that nothing beats the insights of those who have lived or are currently living in these cities. We’d love to hear from you! Do our chosen indicators align with your experiences? Are there other aspects we should consider? Any feedback or opinions on both the design of the document and the data and indicators used would be immensely appreciated.

  2. Honestly I would look no further than Treviso, it’s the most liveable city in my opinion + they have an airport that usually has super cheap flights.
