      Funny thing is their county seat is named Vevay, after the town of Vevey.

      But there’s quite a lot of stuff named after Swiss places in northern America. Fun facts, there’s 3 Lake Genevas in the US, and 3 towns named Lake Geneva in NA.

      Special mention for New Bern in North Carolina that straight up uses the same coat of arms as canton Bern.
