Hallo liebe Nachbarn, wenn Sie nicht wussten, dass der Libanon derzeit die meisten Flüchtlinge pro Kopf der Welt beherbergt, wir beherbergen rund 2,5 Millionen syrische Flüchtlinge und stehen am Rande des demografischen Zusammenbruchs. Glauben Sie, dass Zypern sich bei der EU oder Frontex dafür einsetzen könnte, in Syrien eine sichere Zone zu schaffen, in der Flüchtlinge und Migranten zurückgeführt werden könnten?

In fact there is a safe zone for migrants, and it is called Cyprus.
Wouldn’t the EU just pay Cyprus money to keep the refugees like Turkey?
Just a thought what will be the result if we continue accepting them? 🤔Cyprus is a small island
Send them back I don’t see the EU providing any financial support for the locals here in Cyprus that are in dire need
Enough is enough and it’s time for countries to start supporting their own people before leaping to help others .

The consequences of this is going to be disastrous for Cyprus, especially due to the size.
You don’t have to look far with how bad migration and issues this has caused in Turkey alone due to Erdoğan being a dirty stupid puppet just to take the billions from EU.
That being said, I hope there will be a stop for this. Not that I’m against humanitarian assistance and aid, Cyprus is not responsible for and should not be a resort for these migrants.
The countries that bombed the living hell out of them (U.S, most recently Israel) should take these migrants in and even the EU countries.
