Never thought I‘d say this, but that‘s fucking cultural appropriation!

I’m curious what DEI bullshit it’s gonna be this time.

I just wouldn’t expect it to be even a quarter as good as braveheart to be honest

Braveheart had this very distinct scottish feel to it, watching the trailer of this just feels like a fantasy movie. no real connection to switzerland.

    4. I watched the trailer, it’s like ‘What would have happened if William Tell was British?’

You just know the movie is going to be terrible from that poster alone. Looks like a generic template you‘d find in an Adobe application or something.

    6. There are ladies in the trailer, I wonder if one is the Stauffacherin.

I wonder if Winkelreid will make an appearance. Doesnt matter that he is a completely different time period, they should add him.

I feel like St. maurice is the Swiss hero needing the action movie treatment, though. It’s racially diverse, has romans, and lots of blood and death.

Well deserved as the myths of Switzerland are largely made up anyway so no one can complain the movie misrepresents truth 😁

    8. The lack of Swiss accent in their English makes it less realistic to me. Are there any Swiss actors in the movie?

    9. Not an expert in crossbow shooting, but shouldn’t he close the other eye?

    10. I really hope they nail the administrative aspects of forming a confederation.

    11. This movie is set so much in the past that I fully expect to see at least one Credit Suisse office somewhere.
