1.5×1.5m if vaguely accurate is not your typical DJI Mavic hobby drone. That’s more Matrices range which are circa £8K off the shelf. Which IMO makes it less likely to just be an idiot.

    > A mystery drone has been spotted following a British aircraft carrier at sea after unmanned aerial vehicles were seen hovering over three air bases in England.

    Nyet, is bird.

Surely an unidentified drone following naval vessels should be taken down with anti air defences if the jammers are not working ?

Says that the Germans tried to take it down with jammers but the drone flew away, not a great sign to be honest.

I’ve seen videos from Ukraine where they use drones with nets to hunt other drones, but they’re far smaller than this one, so if that was not possible they should have shot it down.

This should be bigger news. Massive failure by those meant to protect us.

Happy to poke the Russian bear but can’t even get a grip of the unknown invaders back home.

  5. What a surprise still no photos of this one or the others over lakenheath.

Hey average UK person, check out all the talk in the US of ‘drones’ over air force bases and recent submissions to congress. Maybe they’re related.

It’s always worth checking the source for UFO/UFO stuff like this. In this particular case it’s a tabloid rag – the Torygraph.

Both carriers have always had drones over them when they go in and out of homebase.

This will be China for Russia.

They take a particular interest in our navy capabilities considering they’re planning on an amphibious assault.

Plus, this will have been done from a drone op in the UK already.
