Has anyone ever seen Le Grand Restaurant? It’s a French movie.
Gender violence is more of a cultural issue in France.”
Same number or atleast similar in Italy.
The crazy part is that in Italy killed womans represent 1/3 of the victims of murder while in France its 1/9.
This really shows in perspective how different and worse is crime in France compared to Italy.
(I am not going to tell anyone to correlate this with immigrant population)
~70% of intentional homicide victims in France are men, according to [2023 UN statistics](https://dataunodc.un.org/dp-intentional-homicide-victims). But alas, you cant make a flashy article out of that.
That woman should leave her partner and possibly relocate
I don’t want to stir up a controversy, but that kind of news always reminds me of Noam Chomsky’s idea of more and less valuable victims.
“Stop violence against women”.
It does imply that violence against women is worse than violence against others.
In a country of 68 million that’s a rather low murder rate.
Of course murder is bad, but there will never be a world without crime, and it seems murder is [generally going down](https://www.macrotrends.net/global-metrics/countries/fra/france/murder-homicide-rate) in France.
Because it’s cultural , even Coco Chanel said that it’s normal to hit a woman if she deserves it. French ppl are violent it’s in their culture.
How? Is she resuscitated each time?
