I remember when this happened. The old man refused any responsibility and refused to give up his DL

Glad his last days on Earth were spent rotting in prison.

I don’t celebrate deaths of even bad people but I sure as heck and not going to pity this old guy either.

The surviving member of that family (the dad) who was not there at the time has to start all over again or just resign himself to a life of loneliness. He might have survived but he’s a third victim in all of this and just has to live with this pain for decades.

I know a terrible thing happened and that he refused to shoulder the blame, but I still feel sorry for the guy dying in prison.

I am really curious to know how the surviving family member (the husband) feels about this, if anything.

Also remember the abuse the poor guy (who’s wife and child got killed) by the Japanese right wingers (claiming he was just trying to gain sympathy for financial gains etc)

    pure scum…

People should be talking about the massive censorship on the Japanese media and Wikipedia page due to the perpetrator being an “Upper Citizen” at the time in 2019

    >three years into his five-year term.

He got five years for two deaths?! I hope his last days were miserable.
