Enemy land equipment liquidation picking up again, 2/3rds of it russian logisticsship as usual…
That’s a big spike.
On and off days, apparently.
Sorry for the absence a few days, i was very ill, and could not post these because of it.
The number of attacks carried out by the Russian army has increased, but the active offensive has continued in the established directions without expanding to new ones.
– In the Kursk region, very intense battles continue. Media reports have stated that Ukraine has lost control of 40% of the areas in the Kursk region over the last two months, considering the maximum extent of their troops’ deployment. The question arises whether the Ukrainian military command ever intended to actively defend the entire area. However, the Russian army has definitely regained control of several settlements previously occupied by Ukrainian units. Recent attacks have also reported minor advancements by Russian units.
– Russian units intensified their attacks yesterday in the direction of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, but did not achieve results.
– A very active offensive continues towards the cities of Luhansk and Kupiansk. There were no major changes yesterday. In the Siversk direction, Russian units did not conduct major attacks. The commander of the Southern Military District, Colonel-General (three-star general) Gennadi Anashkin, was dismissed from his position. There is no official confirmation from Russian sources. Russian social media claim that the dismissal was due to either the concealment of the actual situation or an inability to organize an offensive in the Siversk area. Previously, the Russian military command had dismissed leaders of smaller units fighting in this area for providing false information.
In Russian army traditions, it is common to send inflated reports of success to leaders. As the report travels to the general staff, passing through at least 3-4 levels of management, misinformation can be further amplified. In Russian command tradition, there is hope of obtaining additional resources if even a small success can be demonstrated. One way to do this is to send a small group of infantry into areas controlled by Ukrainian forces and briefly raise the Russian flag, which is also captured in social media posts. Later, they withdraw. There have also been incidents of hiding the number of casualties to misappropriate the dead soldiers’ salaries. It can be presumed that the dismissed general is angry at fate simply because he is the chosen one who must bear responsibility for a widespread practice.
– In the Bakhmut area, the number of Russian army attacks remains lower than in the summer and early autumn. Street battles in Toretsk continue with varying intensity.
– On the Pokrovsk front, a very active offensive continues, and the Russian army has clearly increased its efforts over the last four days to advance. They did not succeed yesterday. Most attacks are carried out by smaller groups of infantry, which is why progress is slow. The number of attacks south of Donetsk has increased. Ukrainian units have not yet withdrawn from the city of Kurakhove. The Russian army is trying to increase pressure from the south towards the north from the Vuhledar area. Attempts continue to capture the settlement of Velika Novosilka, located on the western edge of this front line. Russian units have managed to advance, but progress is very arduous.
– On the southern front, Russian units’ activity was limited to artillery and air attacks. Battles for positions continue around the mouth of the Dnipro River, on its eastern bank, and on the islands.
