  1. 23 light hours for voyager and about 1.5 light seconds for actual meat

Where would the Operation Plumbob manhole cover be today, if it did make it into orbit at 130,000 mph? I realize we do not know if it did, but…

  3. If something the size of Voyager 1 from another civilization ever floated past us in a relatively close distance, would we even notice it? It’s pretty small in space terms, doesn’t leave a comet trail, etc. what’s the chances another intelligent life form would even see or find this at some point? Also, it kinda makes me sad even if we did detect something like this, there’s pretty much nothing we can do today to capture the device. Do we need a space net?

Just imagine what it has seen in the 34 years the camera’s been off. 🧙🏻‍♂️

What is it sending? And is it of any value or is it just a beepboop whitenoise?

How can you be less than a pixel in size? I thought pixels were either there or not.

It’s absurd that we can still communicate with Voyager at all, considering its antenna dish is only like 12 feet across

Must get bored listening to the same songs over and over.

I wish we could send one of these out into the ether every month. This will be our only legacy.
