      No matter your feelings about the Russians, it is horrifying to see huge numbers of people being used as canon fodder. It’s an extraordinary insult to humanity that a despot like Putin can say your life is worthless and then prove it.

      Im gonna present VERY cynical viewpoint – those kind of old and sick person (i dont think he is 49. 60 smth maybe), dont offer any value anymore to nation economics, but ukrainians have to spend a bullet or drone.

      So its win-win for russians.

      Do not get fooled by these so called old men, underarmed or bad trained personnel. Yes it is stupidity. But they still have masses to throw. The masses are even bigger now north korea have joined, having over 1 million active personnel.

      As a man about that age, I have to say that most of us don’t look or feel this way. Except for about 5 mins in the morning when we get out of bed.

      this just shows the war of attrition they are losing terribly.

      these are not guys you want on the front lines, they arent even the guys you’d have in reserve.

      ruzzia has lost too many men to put decent capable soldiers on the front lines.

      soon will we see children armed with kalashnikovs taking up arms for ruzzia? it seems like it with how putin is going.

      Its still a wealth /class system .. See WW2 as an example , Is there any real difference between what Putin is doing in Russia to his fellow countrymen and how Trump views and sees Americans enlisting in the US military as suckers and losers ? money to bribe a doctor for bone spurs ,
