Während die Amerikaner darüber nachdenken, welche Kosten es mit sich bringt, die Ukraine in den kommenden Jahren weiterhin im Kampf gegen die Russen zu unterstützen, verdienen sie eine sorgfältige Abwägung der Kosten, die entstehen, wenn man Russland den Sieg zulässt.

This quote is the beginning of a two-part series from the Institute of the Study of War called “The High Price of Losing Ukraine.” I read the articles when they came out in December of last year, and I bookmarked them and shared them in internet comments several times. These articles are required reading for anyone who cares about Ukraine but also for anyone who doesn’t understand why helping Ukraine is so important. (Sadly, those people will probably not bother reading this. 😅)
