❗️Ukraine has a real chance to end the war next year, Zelensky said. He noted that U.S. President-elect Trump’s proposals will become clearer in January. As for Putin, he aims to push Ukraine out of the Kursk region before Trump’s inauguration on Jan 20, to project control he doesn’t truly have.

Zelensky’s obviously trying to butter-up Trump, but he surely knows Trump’s attention span is short. Trump will also be busy his first few months rounding up illegals. Certainly no “proposal” from Trump to “solve” the war will be forthcoming anytime soon after he gets into office. Perhaps never as when Trump actually tries to tackle a problem, after making boasts he can solve it, he ends up failing to act because its “too hard.”

    Which “nobody knew,” he’ll claim.

All this meaning in the background the US military and Congress will continue their status quo in regards to Ukraine.

Zelensky should therefor just smile and say nothing as Trump goes through his motions.

  2. Yeah this has been building for a while. It really doesn’t seem like copium or hype. Zelensky doesn’t spend much time on that kind of stuff.

It would be a mistake to regard it as a certainty but Ukraine really is poised for success. Thanks to Syrski, and to the support of Ukraine’s stalwart allies, Ukraine now has dug itself out of the deepest of its resource holes. Finally with enough personnel, and with Russian air defenses and artillery severely hampered, Ukraine is going to be able to start counterattacking Russia not just opportunistically but systematically.

Of course a lot can go wrong between now and next year. And Ukraine is still short of a lot of things — their personnel needs still aren’t fully met. They need more people. They need more pilots and ground crews for their F-16s and other fighters. And they need more equipment and supplies.

But the core of what they need to win is there now.

“You american have big, gargantuan penis!”

I wouldn’t hold it against Zelensky, Trump is a dipshit that can easily be manipulated with praise. Tell him you heard he has a big dick, and I bet he’d do anything you wanted.

i think doubters will be pleasantly surprised by trumps actions. sure some gop do not want to spend money supporting ukraine, but they are the minority, with other gop and dems supporting ukraine. So far trump has NEVER said he will cut funding

i hope 2025 will be a very good year for the ukrainian people.
