Fun fact – if the 12,756km diameter Earth was reduced to the size of an American baseball, the 107km altitude of this mission would be slightly less than the height of the stitches on the ball.

Truly not dismissing the awesomeness of these flights for the general public, just looking for a sense of scale is all.

this feels cheap im sorry to say. i get the idea…..but there is NOTHING feminist or brilliant about this. now the real astronauts doing work i have great respect for. im glad she enjoyed it but no way should she or the others be able to on the same list as these other women.

She paid to go up to 100 km and back down. I think it’s great until I get shill articles painting it as an important step for women. A real astronaut should have got that tag.

i bet it wasnt even her who said this, just blue origin PR. so to be clear i got no problem with her, just hate BO fluff.

Does anyone remember how they went hard with PR smugness year ago ? “BO beats space x to get the crown of catching a booster that went to space!!!” wish they would do more and speak less lol
