Keep in mind, reps have private bathrooms in their offices (Many of their offices are so luxurious that the reps fucking live there to avoid paying for housing when in session) and gov buildings all have accessible unisex restrooms throughout.
this is a non-issue. made up performative cruelty. even if a trans person wanted to protest this by using a single sex bathroom, it’ll literally be just down the hall from a unisex restroom.

I lived in the south a long time and here is how it goes, they go to a building with good intentions, hide the the fact that they are alcoholics, pornographers, thief’s, liars etc, which is fine if you go for help. I’m more concerned about a middle-aged woman like Nancy Mace becoming hysterical every time the subject of trans women in the bathroom is discussed.
How has she made it for 42 years without someone to hold her hand? Does she know that under this law, she will now be sharing the ladies room with trans men, since they were born female at birth?
