      Part of my morning routine for the last years have been to check the report on Russian Losses and the USD-RUB progression. The waiting game has been to see when the Rubble passed the 100 dollar mark. Wonder what should be the next barrier to cross on this graph?

      I remember when the war started and people rushed to buy shares in Russian oil companies for when the war stops…. Yeah, we’re looking at some serious recession here that will last.

      and consider this – when war will end, and it will end at some point, all military production will stop and a lot of workers will be lay off – so unemployment will skyrocket. Add high interest rates and a lot of orcish veterans with PTSD. This will be disaster for orcland. Get popcorn and cola for that event as orcland will collapse.

      How is their economy still functioning?! Inflation in moscow isn’t even that horrific at 8% how are they doing it? Thats like 200 rubles for a loaf of bread. That seems much higher than 8%. Why aren’t Russians demanding an end to the war to the regain a better standard of living for themselves? We have had 2 people try kill Trump just because he is an embarrassment to our country and is a mega douche. Why hasn’t some who is starving and can’t afford to feed their families end this dick?

      I saw an economist on YouTube who said that he estimates that the point of no return for the ruble would be around 1.2 dollar for every ruble.

      He initially estimated a couple of years for the collapse to happen but he recently even moved that up by a year. Used to be 2026, now he moved that up to 2025 cause he thinks that recent Kremlin choices have accelerated this decline.

      Don’t get too excited, ruble is not internationally traded currency – it’s price is regulated by the government. When the ruble drops, it’s done artificially for various reasons, one of those – exports, the government gets more rubles for international sales and they need those rubles to sustain payed mobilization and other expenses – model is old as soviet union where it always was like that.
