Americans and Canadians sure can talk a lot but don’t do jackshit.

  2. And yet we in the Philippines and the rest of the “Global South” suffer the most. Warmer ocean temperatures have caused stronger typhoons/ hurricanes. We were just hit with **4 typhoons for 10 days** just this November. Not to mention the number of super typhoons this year. Our cities were flooded, roofs blown out, and farmlands turned to wetlands. Crops destroyed led to more expensive food. Oh and did I mention how we also suffered more than 42C (107F) heat indexes last summer ON AVERAGE? (tropical summer is from March to May)

This isn’t new to us, but it’s gotten worse. And yet we hear climate change deniers in the west, particularly in the US who laugh at us as they sit in their temperate rooms while the rest of us burn and drown. We get tagged as having the most amount of trash in the ocean, well guess how it got washed up in our oceans? Who is on the opposite side of the Pacific? and didn’t Canada just send us trash to be put in our landfills a few years ago?

The Indian government has taken initiative for Net zero emission by 2070. India is currently the biggest supporter of climate change.

  4. The Philippines? lol

They burn garbage as a means to dispose of it. and the garbage they don’t burn ends up in the ocean around Manila along with all the rivers that are full of garbage

They use plastic for everything to the point where sometimes you get plastic in a shake due to the use of plastic bags full of water then frozen for ice.

    This is a joke.

  5. i’m really asking, i don’t wanna claim wrong things, isn’t it in Brazil, where every year countless square kilometres of rainforest get burned and cleared?? how can they be up there on the list?

Being from UK, it really doesn’t feel like we’re doing that much so these are worrying results lol

Htf India’s climate change performance is high? They are doing jackshit for environment.

  8. Someone’s going to have to explain this to me using crayons.

How tf is Thailand better than Australia and NZ?

Horrific air pollution due to burnoffs, with places like Chiang Mai having the worst AQI in some months.

Rampant plastic use, like literally buy a bottle of Coke and a pork bun from 7/11, and you’ll end up with 3-4 plastic bags, a plastic cutlery set and a couple of plastic straws.

Fly-tipping and leaving litter is common, the seas and waterways are polluted with plastics. The canals are filthy, the agricultural ones filled with chemicals and other agricultural runoff.

10’s millions of petrol and diesel cars choking the air in Bangkok etc.

What are the criteria? Emissions/capita? This map doesn’t make sense. Why are Netherlands green while France is yellow, Netherlands have much higher co2 emissions per capita

Isn’t Norway producing lots of oil? (just not using it themselves)

  11. >no country is ranked in top 3

What does that even mean? How can no country be better than all others?

Wow, way to go Europe! Now you can go bankrupt because of your imbecile Green Deal that made energy extremely expensive. But hey, you saved some forest so go eat some berries.

BS index if Morocco is in the top list … electricity still come from dirty oil n coal, very old cars releasing dirt, poor population doing it all wrong to survive … strict BS n communication via $$$$

No offense, but India is green seriously? They are facing the worst airpocalypse right now. Not to mention another some of the most polluted rivers

  15. Do people really still believe in man made climate change? There are tons of studies related to pole shifts, solar cycles, solar flares, etc. The science isn’t really settled on this. I wish we could have a real discussion about it instead of propaganda.
