      5 years ago, a ruble was worth 1.5 cents. Now, it’s worth one cent. That inflation honestly isn’t *that* crazy annualized (14.87%), especially given the pandemic and resulting inflation that all countries have experienced.

      That said, fuck the Russian government.

      Edit: are these the government published rates? Do we have data on black market rates? Am too lazy to search.
