      Jokes and shit posting aside with Trump rising to power in the US, Putin has a bit of a boosted chance for his goals in Ukraine because the EU seems to be more interested in circle jerking in boardroom commitee meetings then fucking doing anything, and the UK well *sigh* can’t do it alone.

      It’s just he won’t stop there as well, so. Baltics are next.

      If something goes wrong, they will fire more ICBMs in hopes they will just get what they want.

      That’s some brazen logic, so I propose we do the same for Russia. Split it into 4 parts, three of which are pro-Western, the last is to be decided by Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

      They can’t even keep fucking McDonald’s, how the hell do they plan on keeping Ukraine? Even when Trump bends over to give them everything they want (which he will), they don’t have a serious economy. They’re relying on *North Korea* for soldiers and ammunition at this point, their military is a joke. Russia is screwed for generations and will remain a global pariah for decades.

      There is literally no role for them within the “multipolar world” that Putin fanfics about. They’re too goddamned broke.

      Very interesting how russian state planners seem to think that the geopolitical balance will be impacted by a russian win or lose scenario in ukraine to this degree. Like basically what I’m saying is the US can stay the global hegemon even if russia wins in ukraine, same with china emerging as a new global leader why would the chinese case about ukraine?

      If you ask me, the China scenario is the most likely one, looking at what happens in the US.

      Delusional. Even if Ukraine loses the war, they will not be able to peacefully hold the territory for decades. The percentage of ukrainians that will just go “welp, guess we’re russian now” is probably not even in the single digits. Expect civil unrest and covert sabotage operations forever and ever. The only other option is to literally kill everyone who resists, and that’s just not realistic.

      Not the mention their dying economy, population crisis, brain drain, being a pariah state, corruption, centuries worth of generational trauma that will never be worked on, China could leave them to dust at any moment, North Korea is not a reliable ally, EU will never lift sanctions before they leave Ukraine, possibly (and hopefully) not even then.

      Honestly, no matter the outcome of the rest of this war, they’re fucked. They had the chance to evolve with the rest of the world, but instead they dug their own grave and they can lie in it. Good riddance – we gave them a shot and they fucked it up.
