  1. Hello Roland and team, thank you for your great podcast. What are ATACAMS, SCALP/Storm Shadow likely to be used on? What role can they play in disrupting logistics and supplies, and how key could that be with the winter now upon us? Do you think once these missiles are used frequently, and without escalation, that Taurus could enter the theatre? Many thanks

Hi Roland and team. I’m really wanting to ask you, Dom and Francis as well if you think the US debt should continue to eclipse GDP gear after year?

It was getting really hard right before and after the election to listen to the show. It’s gotten better now. But being one of many US voters former Democrat, who voted Republican this year, it may behoove the editors to at least pretend they aren’t so biased by having a guest on who isn’t vehemently anti-Trump who can maybe shed some light on another point of view.

In fact, I’ve heard many episodes where Trump is bashed nonstop, but in the same breath Don and Francis admit the Europe must do more. Some guests admitting when talking about Germany that they never intended to meet their defense spending agreements as it was “toxic policy” to suggest doing so. Why should the US continue to finance the lions share of this war? No one knows what Trump is going to do so I wish the team at the show Woodstock pretending that they know exactly what he’s going to do and it will be “horrible for Ukraine.”

I know it’s really hard for especially Dom to hold back his anti-Trump jokes, but this is journalism. When did it become the status quo to be so openly biased?

Long time listener of the podcast, thanks for all you do. David is definitely missed <3

What do you think it will take for Germany to start sending Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine?

Thank you for all that you and the team do to keep the world informed of Russia’s war of aggression.

If you went on a national tv station to congratulate a politician on his election victory and then show photos of his very naked wife, what message are you sending to the politician?

Curious if you have any sense that all is not well with the love birds?

hello roland, do you find the comments on reddit etc insightful or just below you and irritating?

  7. Hey Roland, thanks for doing the AMA.
It is obvious that Russia is investing big money in their propaganda efforts all around the globe. Journalists are crucial for spreading that propaganda. Have you, or any of your colleagues, been approached with offers to promote some Russian talking points? No need to go into specifics, but have you at least heard of some cases?

Hello Roland, thanks to you and the team.

How are European countries (and Balkans) dealing/going to deal with russian expats living in Europe – those being very russian about being russian? It seemed a very small step for russia to say these are russian speakers therefore this is russian territory.

Hi Roland, thanks for the work of you and the team.

At some point this war will be over one way or another, are you aware of any efforts to prevent Ukrainian land, real-estate, assets, businesses, etc. being sold out to foreign interests and investors in the name of rebuilding. The mega rich thrive on chaos.

Did David have a favourite Warhammer model? I don’t know anything about Warhammer but I was thinking of keeping a little tribute around.

    All the best.

  10. Hi Roland, there has been very little public response from Europe about North Korean soldiers fighting in Ukraine, but what about behind the scenes? Have you heard anything about how Europe’s leadership feels about this?

  11. So why are we so hesitant when it comes to victory over the russian army?

Why are we still holding back and what are the odds, that we will start acually to not give a fck anymore about what happens to russia if it gets defeated, why are people in power even assuming that they can somehow control this ?
Who is on the breaks since day 1 and why?

Thank you for holding this AMA!

Ukraine has recently developed their own long range missiles. Would you consider this a significant “mile-stone” and how will it influence the course of the war in Ukraine?

I’ve read that the updated Hrim-2 will have a range of up to 700km and is capable of evading Russian S-300 and S-400 defense systems. 700km is considerably further than the range of ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles. With that in mind, do you foresee the Ukrainians producing these in mass quantities and if so how soon will that likely be? Thank you!

Belarusian media has just claimed NATO is planning to invade the country and is amassing forces. Is this propaganda to prepare their population to join the war? Or potentially to justify the use of nuclear arms by Russia?

    Hi Roland.

I have been doing some looking around at Russian tactical UAV losses and their production. (Zala, Supercam, Orlan)

With the increased rate of Tactical UAVs being destroyed I was wondering if you knew anything about the state of tactical drone production in Russia. The only information I can find is the increased rate of 300 for the Lancet, which UA are countering with their interceptiors I think with he number of other tactical UAV’s being destroyed Russia will start feeling a squeeze to produce enough to replace losses.

P.s any information on FPV and recon quad production in Russia. I have read they have funneled all startups through their existing military industry which is causing large numbers of faulty and outdated drones as they don’t have theb RnD or freedom to change production lines.

Thank you for all your inclusive experiences. Do you think that the failure of the Kremlin to reinstall the Soviet gauge system across the wider Ukrainian investment zone reflects a wider failure of post-Soviet investment and if so is that reflective only of organized crime or of more?

  16. Thank you for your and your colleagues’ excellent reporting on this conflict, Roland!

In the case the USA decides in the short to medium term to withdraw from Europe to focus on the Pacific what is Britain most likely to do?
Will your country try to orient towards the USA and the Commonwealth or stand with an European-lead NATO instead?
Are there significant differences about this topic among the population and among the political leadership of the large parties? Who favours which option?
