I suspect that these *temporary* housing will be like the sheet of wood under my table’s leg to keep it for rocking: still there 8 years later.

Should have happened sooner. Refugees living on the street and relying on the homeless shelters is a shameful state of affairs.

Cities should be building permanent housing for everyone. The state of homelessness, both among native-born Canadians and refugees, is an international embarrassment that we should all be deeply ashamed of.
