      A Danish Navy vessel boarded the Chinese cargo vessel Yi Ping after it was discovered it had destroyed 2 undersea telecom cables in the Baltic Sea.

      Denmark exercised the right under Art. X of the Submarine Cables Convention. It’s been done only once before, by the USA in 1959

      The Chinese vessel Yi Peng 3 has been chased, intercepted, and boarded by Danish Navy vessel Y311 Søløven after the Chinese vessel destroyed 2 undersea telecom cables linking Finland-Germany and Sweden-Lithuania.

      The vessel sailed from Russia & the captain is Russian

      I bet it was just a decoy so we can waste our time looking and finding nothing while the real Russian subs are down there cutting stuff. Will be interesting to see what they find though.

      Grow a pair of balls…seize the ship, invoke Article 4. China and Russia are working together and therefore should be considered an enemy.

      I caught this moment on a live marine traffic app and you could see the Yi Ping and the Danish navy ship right next to each other. Crazy af.

      I can’t find that the Daniah Navy vessel boarded the Chinese Cargo Vessel on Reuters or the AP or BBC news sites
      Is there a reason for this ????

      Real question is were they trying to frame the Russians ? Or were they helping the Russians?

      Well the longstreched reason why it happend is that they didn’t know that they had an anchor trailing on the bottom of the sea. It should have been caught in something else on their way out from st Petersburg. But some cheap shipping companies are using the anchor to avoid tugboat cost and winch its way out of harbour. Happened in Sweden where a cargo boat cut a high voltage dc cable between Sweden and Germany.

      Hopefully in return for being let off the hook China will actually enforce a few sanctions on Russia. And repair that cable.

      Hard to believe the Danish are moving more quickly than Germany and the UK.

      If anything would start ww3 this would be it versus Ukrainians bombing some russian bases… Because it’s the Danes boarding a Chinese vessel both officially not party to the conflict.

      “No Limits”folks!!! I REALLY wish the (still free right now) nations would get their head wrapped around the FACT that Russia, Iran, China and their proxy north korea are at war with all of us and their goal is to destroy the world as we know it and take whatever they want.

      We have to consider that Russia would love it, if China were to openly join the fight. This is an obvious attempt to drag the Chinese into the war. 

      Please keep this in mind, when forming your own opinion and calling for going to war against China.
