Something something “private business”. Something something “freedom of speech”. Something something “Don’t like it, don’t buy it”.

Businesses advertise with companies that they feel will reach their audience and will not damage their image by association. Musk can’t force someone to advertise on his MAGA-tized cesspool. Little Man Baby has to understand that he can’t always get what he wants.

  3. How can you sue a business for not spending their money on your platform?

  4. I will say, it’s certainly a bold strategy to try to establish that it’s illegal to give advertisers information that might influence their buying decisions, or for those advertisers not to give you their money.

If it isn’t the consequences of my own actions.

Elon simulatenously trying to cultivate this based and cool tech bro image whilst being the biggest crybaby when organisations and individuals enact their own freedom of choice/speech would be funnier to me if so many didn’t buy that he is the champion of freedom of speech and thought that he presents on Twitter.

I’m inspired to sue X for $1B because they aren’t advertising X on my shitty little GoDaddy website where I have a blog.

Interesting development! The inclusion of Twitch in X’s advertising boycott lawsuit shows how the digital ad landscape is evolving. It raises important questions about platform accountability and advertiser relationships. Curious to see how this shapes future industry standards!

i think twitch has worse problems than advertising on twitter rn, elon.

  9. Isn’t this a giant neon sign to advertisers to never start advertising on Twitter? If you know you’ll get sued if you ever stop, you’d be crazy to ever start.

This whole thing is just absurd and reeks of fascism.

You can’t sue folks for choosing not to advertise on your hate filled platform.

  11. Next he’ll sue everyone who deleted their accounts and then sue everyone who isn’t a user for not being a user.

  12. the allegation is anti-trust violations. whats the case look like/how valid is the claim? no idea at all.

the comments have no discussion whatsoever of their opinions about anti-trust law, just opinions about elon musk.

what’s worse, one person being an obnoxious jerk, or 1 hand count worth of companies controlling each major industry?
