Glad that they’re still using banknotes despite the efforts of the rich/surveillance techies to cram cashlessness down everyone’s throats. Cash is personal freedom, being able to buy and sell without a 3rd party’s permission.

Also hope that Poland and Czechia delay joining the Euro for as long as possible … I’m pro EU but anti Eurozone austerity. (And I like the idea of a distinct Polish currency and identity for other, purely patriotic reasons — Poland has been part of other people’s empires for far too long.)

  2. I’ll gladly relieve them of this burden, and take the excess 20 tonnes.

Get on that central banking debt slave model thats been helping the military industrial complex spend your stolen money on weapons, because killing is good for share holders, god bless murica 👍🥴

  4. Actually businesses are preparing so it may happen. Starting recently you may see prices in BGN and EUR also on your receipts. Furthermore we pegged our currency to the EUR so nothing will change when we switch.

  5. Sorry, no paper for this. All will be used in the upcoming German elections.

Great, so Greece will no longer be the poorest country in Eurozone.

This is like the most obvious setup for a Heist film ever. Divert one of the trucks and ride away into the sunset.

Make sure you only send them in 100 euro banknotes we dont want any of the other cheap stuff

520 tonnes. That’s less than 20 truckloads. Or, if you will, 4 blue whales. 1 fully loaded Airbus.

Are all headlines written by bored Newsweek interns lately?

  10. If they would make 500, 1000 and 5000 Eur bills it would be much less tons.
