That’s not a common thing here, but I guess mustard would go in the jar in the front.

  2. My best quess is sauce or another condiment. Not even my 94 year old grandpa can give a clear answear to that image.

Sambal oelek and soy. Normal in china/thaifood restaurants here in sweden.

  4. You choose yourself because we have no clue. I would say sugar in the jar and olive oil in the bottle is the best thing to have in there. You sure it’s Swedish? Is it some cheap design thing?

I have the same set in a cup board in the kitchen somewhere. Got it from s thrift store in Sweden 🙂

  6. That is not traditional Swedish at all. But can be seen in restaurants. On a traditional Swedish table you may see some very common condiments: Ceramic or glass jars for lingonberry jam and currant jelly. Bottles for mustard and ketchup. Salt and pepper shakers.

I guess the glass jars in the picture might be for chili paste and soy sauce?

The first jar looks like it could have some weird form of honey dipper. Not sure how well that shape would work for honey though.

Eh, whatever is appropriate for what you’re currently serving. The bottle looking one looks like it’d contain oil to me, while the other one should contain something thick and highly flavorful. Both probably for something that’s already in the dish you’re serving but which guests might want a variable extra amount of.
