  1. >Actor and comedian Dave Coulier came to his friend John Stamos’ defense Tuesday after the actor received social media backlash for wearing a bald cap in support of Coulier’s cancer journey.

    >“I’m sorry to see a bunch of negative comments as I’ve just begun my cancer journey,” Coulier wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “It’s our friendship (me and John) and this is how we are handling a very tough time. I’m a comedian and humor is what drives me. John knows how to cheer me up and I laughed out loud when he arrived wearing a bald cap — being a true loving friend and brother.”

    >Coulier’s words came after several people swarmed Coulier and Stamos’ joint Instagram post on Monday, many commenting that they felt Stamos’ move to sport a bald cap instead of just shaving his head was insensitive.

Reddit and the internet being terminally online judgey assholes? Shocking

  3. It is exactly this type of ridiculous woke nonsense that got Trump elected with such a commanding majority- it’s not about the economy or taxes…,it’s mainly about this super woke bulkshit. These imbeciles are going to be cancelled out next

I’m so fucking tired of miserable people wanting to drag everyone else down with them. Go fucking do something with your lives.

Although I know this will change nothing. Maybe just maybe people can stop being offended for other people by other people.

You don’t know peoples relationships, their dynamics, or anything really. You are just a person online making something out of nothing almost always.

  6. If it makes Dave happy, then why does anyone have an issue? Dave seemed pleased and if it posted his spirits that’s fabulous

It’s so heartwarming to know they’ve been such good friends since Full House. They both seem like great people and it’s a blessing to have such a good friend to help you through tough times. Good for both of them!

  8. It was framed up as a PR moment, which is a terrible look. But it’s just a dumb prank, which isn’t. Context is everything

I question the validity of “backlash” against a friend supporting another friend going through cancer.

  10. Couliers response was perfect. Stamos did it cause he knew it would get a laugh out of him and cheer him up. That’s what friends do.

In 2014 I had testicular cancer and lost all my hair on my entire body due to chemo. I always laugh at the people shaving their heads in solidarity thing cause I never would have wanted anyone doing that haha, also I never rang any bell when was done with treatment and in remission, just a call from the doctor with my imaging results and them telling me I’m considered in remission lol. Maybe I’m still bitter about that haha, but everyone deals with illness and their own mortality in their own way, so I’m not knocking Stamos and Coulier

Goddamn. To people really have this much free time on their hands that they can get worked up over something so fucking dumb.

I hate how society rewards people who are at home just dying to be offended over stuff.

I mean, swathes of toxic comments are shit but people are entitled to think it’s weird that John had someone makeup his bald cap to look realistic and really highlight the fact he chose not to shave his hair.

Like, I agree with this but I also agree with the people who said it came across a little weird. Also John Stamos assisted in the rape of a woman and has literally spoken about it in interviews like it was a funny story, so I’m not feeling too bad about thinking that.
