The Poles know that Putin can’t be reasoned with, talking peace with a guy who only knows war never ends well!

It is a mistake, but what he will say when Trump will call Putin? Also a mistake or polite will say nothing?

Only gives putler the opportunity to push his shallow agenda and twisted rhetoric.

Poland, as always, the voice of reason. Thanks for keeping it clear.

  5. >He also criticised the fact that “one of the leaders of a European country with a strong economy is negotiating with the aggressor”

I’ve never understood these BS “rules” about not talking to an aggressor. While I don’t expect any progress, *not* talking to an aggressor guarantees more aggression.

I don’t think its a mistake if you are extremely wealthy and connected. If you want to make sure everyone is on the same page on how they want to divide up the world.

Poland, now is not the time for conversation, exercise your troops with your NATO allies, and polish up your weapons, because he will be coming, his buddy is in the White House

Sorry but talking, expressing concerned and giving moderate help only to keep the balance of not losing hard and not winning is also a mistake.

Correct me if I’m wrong but giving money and ammunition is a pretty small help compared to North Korea sending their people. Machines help to win in a war but machines like AI terminator do not exist yet. Machinery is operated by people. And Ukraine is already fighting the country with much higher population who also gets human “resource” deliveries (post Soviet love calling humans in war as a “human resource”). Meaning to even hold the balance of not losing and not winning Ukraine needs much higher help than just money and weapons.

All that shit in last 24 hours about long range missiles is just as sad as humorous. Like what the fuck? Ukraine could make it way harder to get bombed by simply firing long range missiles to biggest military airports in russia. But yeah, let’s wait for 5 more years for russia to improve air defense so that then those missiles will be useless. Just like all fucking waited with F16. It’s so useful 2 years later from the date they were requested!

Damn! The amount of bickering these European leaders do and not act on anything they say, is astounding.

Only time it wouldn’t be a mistake is if Russia is guaranteed to de facto lose.

I am not a Polish president, I am an ordinary opposition Russian (we are not all squashed yet). But I will say what some Europeans and politicians don’t understand, Putin and his friends have the mentality of gopniks, any attempts to communicate other than direct threats (confirmed by force and actions), he perceives as weakness and readiness for concessions.

He understands only strength, and it is not about the size of the economy, etc. It is literally about the ability and willingness to violence.

Not calling , killing is no mistake. It will only cost 2 bullets even if you pay one 1 billion its cheaper.

Include Ukraine to NATO if we are serious about it. What do you think?

  14. Ah the same stuff since 3 days from every polish politician.

Build a wall behind Ukraine and let them fall is a mistake too, because Russia will continue.

  15. Dear President of Poland, this is exactly what Putin (with his small dick) wants, a reaction that dulls division between European countries. why do most European authorities fall for it every time. Use your brain, not your heart.

  16. And? So Poland now will destroy ruzzians rockets? Or send army to help Ukraine? Or just another usless talk and block Ukrainian border?

  17. SandraLee6 on

Forget diplomacy. Let’s just kill anyone who doesn’t agree with us.

Especially if he traces the call to a tall building, with balconies!

America’s president elect also called Putin. What does the Polish president have to say about that? Does the Polish president even dare to say anything?

its not mistake if you already have given up and just want to start the inevitable window shift towards failure so you can start buying cheap gas again.

Which is why Olaf had the call.

  21. No communication at all is the mistake. We don’t need to reason with the unreasonable. We just need to keep talking to see if they, for some reason, become reasonable. Worst case we can at least get some information from them – their wants, their needs, etc. Even their lies.

  22. Calling him what? There’s a number of things you could call him that I feel would be entirely justified.
