Honestly think this is the most grounded response that gives reason to the nonsense that was the fight. I hope he further stabilizes himself with his payday.

Frankly I think he sounds depressed. Thankfully he’s still pretty coherent at this stage of his life but I hope he’s actively maintaining his mental health. CTE is no joke.

    3. Seriousness aside, is this not hilarious to everyone that this was his answer to a kid’s question? I was cracking up in shock when I first heard this.

I’ve seen Jazzy’s interviews over the last few years…she’s a bright and intelligent young lady, and I wish her the best in her future, and hope she doesn’t lose that joy in being a journalist when she hits adulthood.

That said…damn Mike, nice to be brutally honest, but you could have at least helped yourself, and not cuss in front of the young lady.

karma for what happened with Robin Givens?

It’s almost like a movie, if the divorce was the beginning of the 2nd act, this is the end of the 3rd, a man who lived life precariously, doing anything he wants without a care, now reaping the karmic consequence. He disregarded his legacy for so long that has no choice now

Not morbid at all. Some remember, others move on. He’s honestly being super logical here.

This was hilarious. And it’s even more hilarious how long legacy media takes to put out a story 😹

He had to tell himself this to convince himself to do the fight

It’s because he almost died a few months ago from the Ulcers. The situation was much worse than was publicly stated.

Mike gets almost zero credit for being a smart and introspective guy. Here is a guy who by any account is special, saying I’m just temporary and a man. It’s honest and it’s humble. Yes the cussing, but the answer was real.

It’s a humble, accurate, honest response. I mean, he’s famous so people will care as long as boxing continues to be a profitable sport. But most people do get forgotten, so he’s not wrong.

To be fair, Mike’s professional boxing legacy is solid. The Jake Paul fight didn’t ruin anything at all Tyson did professionally before.

      His surviving family perhaps?

I still care about my father even though he passed in 2022.

He did not treat a young person as a child. He spoke to them as a person to another.

He isn’t wrong, and aside from inability to read the audience and filter himself, it’s a fairly profound and freeing view of life.

From an unexpected source, no less.

Edit: from the mouths of boxers. Lol
