142 lbs when she began using it? Seems like she didn’t need it at all.

  2. mandarintain on

she didnt look like she needed to lose weight, but hey you’re in showbusiness

  3. PrincipleInteresting on

Why the hell did she ever start taking it?!? She was at 142?

  4. She’s 5’2”, her doctor would tell her she needed to weigh under 130 to be a healthy weight. Our society is so bad off people consider 12 pounds overweight

  5. I totally dislike this woman and she’s a known bully so she gets what she gets.

So you’re saying I can take a pill for a little while and never get fat again even after I stop???

Substance abuse runs in the family. 142 lb starting weight is negligence or malpractice on the physician. Using it anyway is abuse on Sharon’s part.

  8. There’s using and there’s abusing.

I don’t trust that Hollywood folks are being responsible with the drug given so many stories of actors just getting it without a doctor and taking megadoses without titration.

Her BMI didn’t warrant the use of those drugs. The rich and famous can doctor shop for whatever they want.

    She’s doesn’t look amazing but she’s 72. Looks normal for a 72 year old.

Yuck. Now she looks like the subject of a horror movie… Or a metal album. I know you have one more in you Ozzy! What about Ozzempic?

I honestly thought the last 10 – 15 years she was like 80 or 85 years of age.

There’s really no way Ozempic “ruined” her metabolism. It doesn’t work that way.

Either she’s not eating as much as she thinks she is, or there’s a big health issue unrelated to Ozempic that’s preventing her from gaining weight.

  14. Shocking.

You think she’s bad. Look at her daughter. It’s fucking creepy as shit.

  15. Fairly certain being on a diet in your 70s/80s is called an eating disorder…

Welp. She looks nothing w what she strived to be over the decades. Enjoy Sharon 🥂

  17. She lost weight before with gastric bypass surgery and I’m sure that she’s learned how to eat healthy. Why did she feel the need to take drugs when there could be serious side effects. It’s not the magic cure that people think it is and it’s not for everyone. I blame celebrities for pushing this.

Ozempic has so many awful side effects that are only now becoming openly discussed. The biggest among these is gastroparesis.

I’ve struggled with idiopathic gastroparesis since I was a teenager and it’s made my life a living hell at different points. I mostly manage it with medication nowadays, but it makes managing all of my other health issues a pharmacological nightmare.

Why anyone would choose to take something that can cause an entire moderate to severe health condition as a side effect is beyond me. Barely being able to eat more than a handful of food at a time and nausea and vomiting most days if not every day are the biggest symptoms but it can also cause widespread gut motility issues leading to severe constipation.

There is no panacea for weight loss other than CICO and exercise if you can make the time for it. The current climate in the US is horrific and plenty of people are depressed and overworked so they turn to food for quick comfort. Processed foods and to-go meals are calorie-laden.

But at the end of the day, we must exercise some level of self-control. I say this as someone who’s carrying an extra 20 lbs at the moment. I’m back to tracking again, even with the holidays right around the corner.

Good lord – all those procedures and she still had to try the weight loss drug too? Hopefully she’s learning to leave herself alone, but it wouldn’t surprise me if she learned of some new procedure that she can’t wait to try.

Ozempic affects appetite, but not really metabolism. Unless she has stomach paralysis, whatever her issues are, they are not likely related to Ozempic.

  21. I was on an Ozembic like drug for my diabetes long before this dangerous trend began. I had to stop using it after about 6 weeks, it made me so sick. This is not a drug to be used for weight loss purposes as its side affects can be awful and very long lasting.
