This might be true but not accurate. If everyone had the same opportunities this would make more sense.
Definitely stronger in some roles than others.
Huge part of what I hated about my (failed) former career change into estimating was the ridiculous conformity in personality of everyone I worked with. One colleague wore a pair of sunglasses at lunchtime on a bright sunny day and it was taken as some sort of flamboyant incitement.
Is this saying that people with particular personalities gravitate towards specific roles, or that people in particular roles develop personality traits based on those roles?
They didn’t provide what traits they are applying to what occupations did they? I didn’t see that information in the article.
My job requires a Myers Briggs in the interview as well as a psychological evaluation. They can legally not hire you based on the results.
As long as I get a job/personality test in the future I’m okay with this research
