I for one am an idiot when it comes to energy contracts. Having been on a “flexible contract” for more than 20 years, I got the full impact of the rising gas & electricity prices after the start of the war in Ukraine. Ever since I’ve been struggling to get my head around the newly offered energy contracts. I do a check every now and then and change energy supplier when I think the time is right. Only to be proven wrong and end up paying more than before. I just hate the lack of transparency, and even more the continuous phone calls from Luminus, Engie, etc sales people promising cheaper contracts to only find out I got screwed in the end.
