Selenskyj: Raketen werden für sich selbst sprechen

Volodymyr Zelensky said long-range missiles provided by the US “will speak for themselves” after Joe Biden granted Ukraine permission to use them to strike targets inside Russia.

Referencing reports about Mr Biden’s decision, the Ukrainian president said: “There’s a lot of talk in the media about us receiving permission for respective actions. But strikes are not carried out with words.”

The UK and France are thought to have been in favour of giving Ukraine permission to use long-range missiles to strike targets inside Russia but Mr Biden resisted out of fear of escalating the conflict further.

But Mr Biden is understood to have been swayed after North Korea deployed thousands of troops to the frontline to fight Ukraine.
